First 2.1 Update Available |

The latest update to jTips is now available. The jTips 2.1.1 Update provides twenty-two issue resolutions and two new features. While the majority of the issues that have been resolved are relatively minor, we recommend that all users immediately upgrade to this new version. This latest update has been a little bit longer in the making. This allowed us to combine a number of fixes into the one package.
If you haven't yet taken the step up to the jTips 2.1 series, we highly recommend you perform a few pre-upgrade checks, OneClick Upgrade your system, then complete the upgrade.
The jTips 2.1.1 Update is essentially a maintenance release that address issues found in jTips 2.1.0. These are found in a variety of areas including ShowTips, Internet Explorer layout compatibility, front-end competition administration and more. (Full list of issues and new features)
We have also extended the Tips Notification feature so that now each user can opt in, or out, of receiving these selection confirmation emails. This option can be access from the Edit Preferences popup. For even better Joomla! 1.5 integration, jTips now uses the build in popup window found throughout the Joomla! 1.5 series.
- If you have are currently using jTips 2.1, when you perform the OneClick Upgrade, you may see a message telling you the upgrade has failed. This is incorrect. The upgrade would have completed successfully. This issue has been addressed in this update.
The jTips 2.1.1 update has been developed on the Joomla! 1.5.8 platform and is 100% compatible with this version. Due to the evolving nature of jTips, jTips 2.1.1 requires PHP 5.2 or higher.

| Lowest Score Allocation Enter -1 for 'User No Tips Points' when setting up a season and when you process a round, users that forget to submit their tips will be given the same score as the user that did submit their tips, but scored the lowest. This will keep these 'forgetful' users in the game... but only just. |
