The latest update to jTips is now available! This update improves on the recent JomSocial integration as well as correcting an issue that prevent Bye games from scoring correctly.

We have also introduced support for using the Page Title feature of Joomla! 1.5. You can now set the title of each jTips page when you create the corresponding menu item.

A new toolbar button has been added to the Round Manager which allows you to mark a round as Uncomplete. This means you can then edit the result, or by editing the dates and times, you can completely change the structure of a round! This is especially handy if you have forgotten to add the Bye games to the round and only realised after the round has been processed.

There is a catch with this update however. Due to a bug in the version checking system, the AutoUpgrade and OneClick Upgrade features will not allow you to upgrade the system. There are three ways to resolve this.

• Contact the Support Desk for assitance upgrading - we will take care of the upgrade for you.
• Contact the Support Desk and ask for the enter jTips Component. You can then install this using the Joomla! Extension Installer. Your data and configuration is safe when doing this.
• If you have FTP access to your Joomla! system, you will need to upload the following file to:
  

  administrator/components/com_jtips/modules/Dashboard/Dashboard.js

  Just overwrite the file that is already there. You can then use OneClick Upgrade to complete the upgrade. Dashboard.js. To download, right-click and select 'Save Target As...'

There are some fundamental improvements to the way JomSocial integration is handled. jTips 2.1.9 introduced a flaw which caused a White Screen of Death (WSOD) error when processing a round and JomSocial Integration was enabled. The jTips 2.1.10 update resolves this.

Additionally, the season/competition name that is displayed in the JomSocial Activity Stream provides a link the respective jTips Dashboard page for that season/competition.

We have also improved the default JomSocial Activity Stream messages. This allows for combining multiple messages into a single update. The defaults are:

• When a User Joins:

• When a User Submits Their Tips:
