A lot has been happening around here over the past month. We have worked hard to answer your questions and fix any issues that had been found. Now that April is here, it is time for the latest release of jTips.

This new version, 2.1.9, contains eleven bug fixes and a whopping nine new features! You can find out more about each fix and feature in the release notes.

We have heard how much you like the JomSocial Integration feature. jTips 2.1.9 takes this to a new level, providing more activity stream posts and the ability to completely customise the text being written to the stream!

To assist in getting jTips up and running even quicker, and to allow for easier subscription to competitions, we have revised the jTips Dashboard and added a new 'Subscription Status' section. This allows users to quickly and easily subscribe, to pay for, and unsubscribe from competition. And it's now very prominent on the page, making the process simpler for your users to play.

jTips 2.1.9 now has a brand new 'My Tips Dashlet'. In the spirit of simplicity, we have completely rewritten the My Tips Dashlet, and, it can now be displayed anywhere on your website - it is not longer restricted to the 'jTipsDash' module position. This module/dashlet will simply display the list of teams that the user has picked for the current round. You can optionally display the team as a name only, a logo only, or both. If you have enabled 'Pick the Margin' or 'Pick the Score', additional columns will appear to present this information. The information icon on the right displays the 'other' team when hovered on - this saves screen space and prevents too much clutter.
