jTips 2.1.1 is essentially a maintenance release resolving a number of issues with the initial jTips 2.1 release. The majority of these issues are relatively minor.
Issues Resolved
#206. 'More' link in ShowTips Fails
If the user (whose tips/picks are being viewed) has not submitted any tips for that round, the 'more' links (arrows) produces an error.
#208. Horizontal Scrollbars in Popups (IE Only)
When using Internet Explorer, the ShowTips and ShowTeam popups have horizontal scroll bars.
#209. Last Round Won By New User
When the 'Average' option is selected for 'Late Entrant Points', any user that joins after the first round will appear as the overall winner of the previous round, even though they were not part of the competition at that time.
#210. Season Description not Populated
When editing a season, any previously entered description does not populate back into the description field.
#211. Saving Dates
On some instances of PHP, saving any date resulted in a date around 1969/1970.
#213. Precision Scores Incorrect
After tallying results, the precision scores are incorrect when used with Pick the Score.
#214. Redundant Options in Configuration
The Left, Middle, and Right position options in the Configuration have no impact.
#216. Call-time-pass-by-reference Error
In some instances of PHP, some pages preduced a PHP warning regarding a call-time-pass-by-reference error.
#217. Season Filter in User Management
The Season dropdown filter in the User Management area return you to the jTIps Admin Dashboard.
#219. Current jTips User Loading with Wrong Season
With multiple concurrent competitions, the loaded user may not match the competition being viewed.
#220. Team Ladder Ordering
Team Ladder not accurate when teams are tied for points.
#221. Front-End Admin Area Not Loadable
If a user that is not part of a competition is nominated as the scorer, the front-end admin pages display error messages.
#223. HTML in Selection Confirmation Email
The Selection Confirmation email is sent as plain text, but contains HTML characters, that is, line breaks.
#224. Incorrect Season Loading
In some cases, the wrong season is loaded on the Dashboard and other pages.
#225. Component Installation Fails
Attempting to install the component on a clean system produces a missing file error in Joomla 1.5.
#226. Popup Layer Ordering
On some Joomla templates, some elements appear in front of the jTips Popups. (Resolved for Joomla 1.5)
#227. Selection Confirmation Email Content
In some instances, the selection conformation email does not contain the selected scores when Pick the Score is enabled in the Season and Game.
#229. Ghost Users in Competition
Empty may users start to appear in the User Management area.
#230. Competition Ladder Dashlet Comment
The comments icon on the comp ladder dashlet gives a javascript error when the linear transition style is selected.
#231. Blank Peak into Current Round Page
In some instances of PHP, when you click on Peak into the Current Round, the popup shows a blank white screen.
#232. Images Fail to Upload
Saving an image for a team or a season does not upload the image.
#233. OneClick Upgrade Gives Failed Message but Succeeds
When OneClick upgrading from 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 the system gives a "Upgrade Failed:" message, but the actual upgrade is successful.
New Features
#215. Remove Default Zero
With SmartTips enabled, the zero that was automatically entered into the score fields has been removed. Now the feilds remain empty.
#234. Selection Confirmation User Preference
With Tips Notifications enabled in the Configuration, each user can now optionally receive or not receive the Selection Confirmation email. The default is not to recieve.
