jTips 2.1 brings you a stack af new features and enhancements - a lot of which are behind-the-scenes.
Issues Resolved
#191. Slashes in Team Descriptions
In the ShowTeam popup, any apostrophes or quotes in the teams' description were preceeded by a slash.
#195. Ranks not Caculated Correctly
Re-processing an old round causes ranks to become incorrect for all previous rounds.
#197. Season Description
In the season description on the Dashboard, any apostrophes or quotes are preceeded by a slash. Additionally, any line breaks are removed.
#200. Progress Image Not Shown
When processing a round, the progress animation image is not show.
#201. Bonus Team Not Saved
When you enter the results for a round, the selection for 'Bonus Team' is not saved.
New Features
#187. ShowTips Popup Columns
Enhanced the ShowTips popup to add individual game analysis to see pick, points, margin, bonus team, everything!
#189. Standardised Tips Panel
New option added to Season/Competition setup that allows you to determine if the Home team should appear on the left in all tables, or the Away team.
#190. Automatic Updates
Added new feature - 'AutoUpgrade' - which checks and automatically installs new updates every 2 weeks!
#192. Automatic Team Selection (Part 2)
Added SmartTips feature to hide the team selection radio buttons on the Tips Panel. Use conjunction with Pick the Score so that users to do not have to select a team and enter scores. Entering scores will automatically select the appropriate team in the background.
#193. ShowTeam URL Style
Improved layout of team website link in ShowTeam popup.
#194. Team Ladder Ordering
Improved team ladder ordering algorithm. Teams are ordered by total point, then points difference (FA), then points scored, then alphabetically.
#196. Team Description Editor
The team description field is now a full content area editor and can be used to display images and web page style pages in the ShowTeam popup.
#202. Modularise Source Code
The entire code structure has been remodelled to make jTips even more extensible and scalable.
#204. Game Start Times
Added option to Season/Competition setup to enable Game Start times. With this enabled, when setting up a round it is possible to set the start date and time for each game. This information is displayed on the Tips Panel.
#205. Front-End Fixtures and Results Manager
Added WebScore feature. When setting up a Season/Competition, setting a Scorer allows that user to administer fixtures and results from the front-end of the website.
