Version 2.0.15 is one of the largest collection of fixes and feature additions for a single update! Some fixes are cosmetic and some a logic. All users should update to this version to take advantage of these fixes and features.
Issues Resolved
#165. Javascript Error On Dashboard
With no 'Team Ladder Style' selected in the configuration area, a javascript error is produced on the dashboard when the 'My Tips This Week' dashlet is shown.
#167. Missing 'Draw' Icon
When viewing the ShowTeam popup, if a team has a draw, there is a broken image.
#170. Editing Tips Gives White Page
Editing the tips for a user using the Tips Manager produces a White Screen of Death (WSOD) error. That is, nothing is displayed on the screen. This error only occured when there was only one user in the compeition.
#171. Competition Ladder Not Showing Movement
With more that one completed round, the ladder movement icons did not always display correctly.
#175. Sorting on DoubleUP Column Fails
Trying to sort the Competition Ladder on the DoubleUP column produces an empty table.
#176. Missing Langiage File Values
Some text can not be changed in the Language Editor.
#177. Number of Users in List in Admin Area
Changing the number of users to display in the jTips Users list has no affect.
#178. Show 'All' in Language Editor Fails
In the Language Editor area, changing the number of items be displayed to 'all' (Joomla! 1.5), produces an empty list.
#179. Comments Always Use BadWords
If any BadWords have been entered, any Comment that is saved has the badwords filter applied to it, regardless of the configuration setting.
#180. Process BadWords Fails
Trying to process one or more BadWords produces a White Screen of Death (WSOD), or a Fatal Error.
#181. Administrator Layouts for BadWords and Comments
The lists of BadWords and Comments do not conform to the jTips or Joomla! standards (bad table header formatting).
#182. Cannot Select Round when Editing Comment
Editing a Comment from the Administrator Area produces a javascript error and the rounds dropdown is not populated.
#183. Last Round Summary Shows Wrong Comment
The Last Round Summary area shows comments from the current round, instead of the precvious round.
#185. Season Selection Validation
When editing a jTips User, Round or Comment, clicking save without selecting a Season produces an alert popup, but the data is still saved.
#186. ShowTeam Popup Shows Site Header
With a some SEF configurations, clicking on a team and viewing the ShowTeam popup also displayed the site framework.
Features Added
#86. Team Ladder Ordering
Team Ladders are not more accuratly sorted. These ladders are sorted by points (descending), then by for and against (descending), then by name (ascending).
#164. Better Pagination
Pagination on the Competition Ladder page has been completely replaced and now uses a more standardized approach by making use of Joomla!'s built-in pagination support.
#168. Auto Select Team When Entering Score
If 'Pick the Score' has been enabled, users no longer need to select a team, then enter the score. Users can simple enter the estimated score and jTips will automatically select the appropriate team. Select the opposing team, and the entered scores are automatically switched.
#169. Late Entry Points Distribution
When a user joins a competition after it has started you can now optionally allocate them an average score, the equaivalent of the lowest score, or no points at all. Set this option when creating or editing a Season. Look for the 'Default Points' option.
#188. Tips Panel Layout
For better consistency with sports sites, the Home and Away columns on the Tips Panel have been switched around. So now, users can read each line like 'Away team at Home Team'.
