We are pleased to announce the release of jTips 2.0.8. This update addresses some issues surrounding the links generated when SEF is enabled in your Joomla! configuration. These links are now rendered correctly. There is also improvements in the administrator area, particularly on the jTips Administrator Dashboard and the jTips Configuration areas - these areas now have a more integrated feel with respect to the tab selector. Additionally, improvements have been made with respect to detecting possible issues with the installation. These, for example, could be permissions on directories or files. You will now be properly informed in such an event.

This release also includes a brand new feature - Team Starts. This is like a head start or handicap for a team and can be toggled when setting up a season and games.

All Away TeamsWhen setting up a season/competition, enter '-2' for 'User Does Not Tip Points'. Now, when a user forgets to submit their tips they will automotically be given a score equivalent to them having picked all the 'away' teams for that round!

However, the demo data is completely refreshed and randomized every 12 hours! Not everything can be randomized however, so the Comments and BadWords features have been disabled. You can log in to the Demo Site in both the front end and administration areas to really get a feel for how the system works.
