This jTips update, to version 2.1.11, is relatively minor. However, for those subscribers using the JomSocial integration option, this update provides some fixes better, smoother integration.
If you are using jTips 2.1.9 or earlier, find out how to upgrade.
Issues
#357. Unsubscribe Link Incorrect
The URL for the unsubscribe link on the Dashboard has "view-Dashboard" as part of it, and should be "view=Dashboard". This does not negatively affect the system performace since the default view is Dashboard.
#359. Bonus Team Alignment in ShowTips
The extra info section in the ShowTips Popup has the Bonus Team centre aligned. This should be left aligned.
#360. Timezones Not Working Correctly
If a user sets their timezone to something less than the system timezone, they are able to enter their tips after the expected cutoff time.
#361. JomSocial Links To Competition Dashboard Broken
With Search Engine Friendly URLs on and mod_rewrite off, the links that appear in the JomSocial activity stream - that link to the competition dashboard - are broken - the index.php is missing.
#362. JomSocial Messages Overriden
If there are two different JomSocial messages in a row from jTips, the first one disappears.
#364. No Feedback on Language Item Save
When saving a language item, there is no confirmation or error message displayed.
Features
#363. Subscription Renewal Date
The 'Renewal Date' section on the 'Updates' tab of the jTips Administrator Dashboard now displays the correct date that the current jTips License Subscription is due to expire. Additionally, messages will be displayed when this date approaches to keep you informed, so that you don't miss out on any of jTips!
