It is highly recommended that all users upgrade to this version to avoid issues when processing a round.
Issues
#317. Rounds Fail to Process
Trying to process a round fails with the message "0/1 Rounds Processed". This occurs in jTips 2.1.8.
#318. Error After Upgrade
A fatal error is produced when upgrading using Joomla! 1.0, however the upgrade is successful.
#319. Unable to Add Users Manually
Users created manually using the Joomla! User Manager cannot be added to the jTips competitions due to no activation method being required.
#320. Javascript File Not Updated
When a language variable is edited, the changes are not applied to the javascript language file.
#324. Function 'strptime' Not Defined
Windows installations of PHP do not have the strptime function.
#327. Warning Message in Tips Manager
Before any tips are present, a Warning message is displayed in the Tips Manager.
#328. Parameter Variable Overridden
Other modules that access the $params variable, on the same page as jTips results in errors in the module.
#329. Form Posts to Empty Page
With some configurations on SEF, saving tips goes to an empty page at option=com_&Itemid=0.
#333. Edited Language File Not Loading Correctly
Once a language variable has been edited, any new language variables that are introduced don't get merged into the $jLang variable.
#334. JomSocial 'Join' Message Is Broken
When a user joins the competition, the JomSocial Activity Stream action does not have the user name.
#340. No Component Title
When a value is entered for jTips Component Title in the jTips configuration area, and the Menu is hidden/disabled, the component title does not appear.
Features
#321. More JomSocial Integration
New activities are now written to the JomSocial Activity Stream. You can now also customise the text of these activities.
#322. New Team Ladder Column
You can now add the For/Against Percentage as a Team Ladder column. Edit your configuration to add this column.
#323. Finer Game Times
Times for Rounds and Games are now broken down to 5 minute increments..
#330. New ShowTips Access Level
It is now possible to allow users to view the tips of other users while the round is in progress.
#331. Copy and Apply Buttons
You can now Copy/Duplicate a round, including all games. Additionally, Apply buttons have been added when editing a round, season and the configuration.
#332. Register for All Competitions
A new configuration option has been added to allow users to register for all current competitions, or only the current competition being viewed.
#337. Season Variables in Emails
The emails that have been sent out now accept the name of the competition using the {competition} variable substitute.
#339. Better Subscribe/Unsubscribe System
You can now subscribe and unsubscribe from a competition from the jTips Dashboard, without the need for the jTips My Tips Dashlet.
#341. Search when Adding Users to Competition
A new search feautre has been added when finding users to manually add to a competition.
